The Outdoor Movement is a doorway to the sports enthusiasts to take sports to the next level. They aim to complement, not t compete, with the traditional races, which are expensive and have to compromise on truly inspiring locations for admin and logistic purposes. Digital races are directly downloadable to GPS and are not limited by logistics, entry limits, or entry fees; meaning nowhere is off-limits to adventurous and competitive athletes. When Outdoor Movement wanted to bring their global presence up to date, they approached Codefound.
The Outdoor Movement needed a user-friendly website to ease their complex structure of working environment. Their most important and challenging requirement was to create route map for GPS enabled device. They also wanted to evaluate their winners from the GPX file uploaded through GPS enabled device.
Our professionals worked with Outdoor Movement to develop more user-friendly website to meet all the needs of the client. The site is built on the Content Management System to enable partners to add new events and make changes as they needed. The look and feel of the front-end design is very simple and elegant and professionals created separate login for partners and adventuourers.
The partners can create an event by registering to the site. Once they login with the username and password, they will get the option to add the event. They can also select any of the discipline like Mountain Bike, Road Bike etc and then create the route map. An automatic digital race code will be created here with the race name, place and longitude and the latitude. In the other side, adventures will have the option to view all the events created by the partners. They could add the event to their profile or can follow the events. By following the events, they could see the updates on the events.
The radical thinking of our developers helped to create successfully the route map for GPS device. The Google map API helps to access up to date information of digital race, location and timings. The adventuourers can download this route and they can participate easily by using this route map. After finishing their race, they have to upload the GPX file and this help Outdoor Movement to calculate the timings of race and determine the winners.
